"Amy Schumer Comes Out ‘Against’ Writer Kurt Metzger’s Comments on Rape, But Metzger Says She Only Did Because He ‘Told Her To.'"

This is a bit complicated — and it relates to the trouble you can get into if you talk about certain things the wrong way — so go over there and read it.

Metzger was clearly mocking the SJWs bullshit arguments - an unforgivable sin.

It goes back to what rape is. It trades even today on being a violation of feminine modesty, and claims a right to the outrage that goes with that, which is born of chivalry.

But rape has been expanded to all sorts of things without dropping the hidden source of the outrage, which is fundamentally bullshit, hence the bullshit charges.

The accusation of the pointer-out with a crime itself depends on that hidden source of outrage.

It will never end until women get better with understanding language or the entire crime if rape is replaced with assault and battery and the chivalry actually forgotten.

It's a women's right to chivalry argument, without the responsibility.

Ho hum. More Jiu Jitsu by Twitters over who helps to destroy men the best and who gets thrown out of the Gang.

Yeah, definitely read the linked article.

Let me see if I get this right: Upright Citizens Brigades bans Aaron Glaser because female comedians say he assaulted him. Since he's never been charged, Metzger objects. Idiots demand Amy Schumer distance himself from him (since I guess he wrote and acted on her show), and she finally says so after he asks her to because a) it's not her fight, and b) she shouldn't suffer for what he's saying.

And Metzger, by writing, "With no details/proof/a story about what happened of any kind, a bunch of people feel comfortable declaring guilt and going out of their way to destroy someone," Metzger wrote. "But I'm right and that's why we have a constitution and laws." he's called a rape apologist, which seems to me far more inflammatory and slanderous than what he was quoted as saying in the article.

Score: SJWs -1, Metzger +1, Schumer 0, UCB +1 (they're a private group).

"he assaulted them" I mean. I really gotta proofread my stuff.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for a woman who drinks so heavily that she cannot move. But by all means, blame The Man.

What does Hillary say about this, I wonder.

MadMan, I suspect that Hillary does have a LOT of sympathy for a woman who drinks so heavily that she cannot move.

Especially if after all that she can't catch a fuck.

Schumer's a big Hildabeast supporter. So she should probably shut her pie hole.

I've never even so much as felt the urge to rape a woman which makes perfect sense considering that sex with even the most eager of women has always turned out to be a big disappointment.

Trying to keep up with the leftist party line on rape is enough to make your head hurt.

And why is Amy Schumer dragged into this? Isn't it enough to say "I don't know, I don't have anything to do with any of this"?

Can't stand Amy, who was a talent in her own right before she got fat+lazy spoonfed by a team of hard-working writers. Came up mocking liberal absurdity, became a liberal absurdity.

Comedians often have passive-aggressive issues, part of which is why they developed humor skills as a safety mechanism.

Women comedians have these issues, too, plus often feel they are not taken seriously in the field (women are not funny, etc).

Physically beautiful people rarely become comedians: there is no need for them to develop the edge.

So: homely passive-aggressive guy has sex with angry homely passive-aggressive women with Patriarchy Issues. My guess was alcohol was also involved.

Who would've imagined that it could all go sideways?

The room smelled of Shame and Guilt and Self-Loathing before any fucking even began.

Lesson: don't fuck chicks who think they are funny.

They ALL have Daddy Issues. Daddy wouldn't laugh at their jokes. Daddy didn't take them seriously. Daddy didn't like the idea of them becoming a comedian. Daddy wasn't there, and the step-father seemed rapey.

Those kind of things lead to cynicism that is clouded in 'comedy'. This cynicism can apply to male comedians, too: it is just that they generally are funnier at it.

Note that there is a difference between female comedians and funny female actresses. The actress can be hot while reading lines someone funny wrote for her.

Which only makes the less-attractive passive-aggressive female comedians with Patriarchy Issues more mad.

That should explain things.

I am Laslo.

Except the ones that are not politically useful. Then, not so much.

Schumer certainly seems to be the current darling of the "liberal" Hive. They're getting her name, face and even (gasp) body out there all the time, all over the place. She's like this year "Gallant Gallstone." (A reference for you FOUNTAINHEAD fans.")

[Laslo:] That should explain things.

Brilliantly. If there was a like button, I would have worn the poor thing out.

They always go after your job. Never forget that. Metzer said things the SJWs disagreed with and their first action was to go to Schumer--they assumed Schumer was his boss--to get him fired. They attack your job, your income, every time. The remarkable thing is that it's so common now most people barely notice!

Metzer thought UCB was being unfair to someone never arrested for nor convicted of a crime. He expressed that in a comically hyperbolic way. People disagreed with him...and immediately started trying to get him fired.

Political correctness is just about being nice to each other, and SJWs are all about tolerance and love. Riiiiight.

From NYMag article "The Comedy World Can't Handle Rape Allegations"

Over the past two days, I’ve spoken with a dozen women in comedy. Every one of them had a story to tell about inappropriate conduct by a male comic. They had been propositioned, harassed, touched, heckled in a sexual manner while onstage. Some had been sexually assaulted.

So we're lumping being propositioned and heckled "in a sexual manner" in with actual sexual assault. And then, of course, we're complaining about men who don't take allegations of sexual misconduct seriously enough. Neat.

Another reason it is a horrible idea to be involved with Twitter. Nobody who is not a devoted user of Twitter gives a shit about Twitter. Nobody cares about "Tweets", "trending", and "hashtags". Do not be involved.

Let me see if I get this right: Upright Citizens Brigades bans Aaron Glaser because female comedians say he assaulted him. Since he's never been charged, Metzger objects.

Glaser should sue. Public accomodations law would have to ban refusing service to people for, literally, no reason.

And how many of them respond to hecklers by criticizing dick size? Not that rare.
