Ranking the 168 finalists in "American Idol" history.

With reasons given for all. Having watched the show all along, I found it hard enough just to remember everyone, but at least in some cases, it was fun to try.

Clarkson and Fantasia ranked ahead of Carrie Underwood? F**k "Vulture." F**k Maura Johnston. F**k you. F**k all of you.

Stronger message to follow.

I genuinely liked Sanjaya Malakar. I'm sorry to see him listed as only 166 of 168.

I hope Maura Johnston got paid for all her work making this awesome list.

Sanjaya was at least memorable. From someone who only rarely watched, it was another 70 or so names before I recognized another.

It would be interesting though to have a American Idol and Britain's Got Talent competition. I've not watched the latter, except a few famous clips on YouTube, but it is clear that AI never had the total suprises that BGT did in Susan Boyle and Paul Potts. Seeing the crowd and judges reactions to these complete nobodies still makes you want to stand up and cheer, nothing that I ever did with AI.

I still like Corey Clark singing "Tired of Being Alone."
