"Putin Calls Trump 'a Very Outstanding Man,' Accuses Turkey of Licking America’s Privates."

There's a headline. At Slate. Excerpt:
Putin returned the GOP front-runner’s compliments, calling Trump a “very outstanding man, unquestionably talented” and “the absolute leader of the presidential race.”...

Relations between Russia and Turkey have broken down since Turkish forces shot down a Russian fighter jet over the Syria-Turkey border last month. "The Turks decided to lick the Americans in a certain place," he said Thursday of the incident, a crude variation of his accusation that the U.S. is partly responsible. He also said he saw no prospect of improved ties between the two countries and decried the "creeping Islamization of Turkey that would have Ataturk rolling in his grave."
That reminds me, a new Marc Maron podcast went up this morning. The interviewee is one of my favorite performers, Eric Bogosian. Bogosian — of Armenian ancestry — has written a book about the Armenian genocide, and in the podcast he talks of his grandfather, who advised him that if he ever met a Turk, he should kill him. The book is "Operation Nemesis: The Assassination Plot that Avenged the Armenian Genocide." Bogosian does the reading in the audiobook, so I strongly recommend it.

Ahh. That explains why the turkey gets the Presidential pardon every Thanksgiving.

Kliban has a mysterious cartoon series "The Turk" in one of his books.

Google doesn't turn it up immediately so I don't know which book.

Such eloquence should be encouraged.

I wonder if Putin will give President Trump a reset button spelled recess?

Turkey licks, but Putin sucks.

Perhaps Putin sees Trump as a manly man, a man he can deal with in an adult fashion as opposed to the manchild in the White House.

I think I might offer to ship Erdogan all the natural gas his little heart might desire, but Obama is not going to do that.

Cubanbob: exactly correct. both are inwardly insecure and need to feign uber masculinity to hide their feminine side. That and Putin knows Trump will be his bitch. Unlike Obummer who has the balls to marry a strong woman and has made everyone his bitch by getting 100% of everything he has gone after.

Putin should have accused Turkey of licking America wherever. Maybe it was a translation issue.

Christian Assyrians and Greeks living in Anatolian were also massacred in the "Armenian Genocide." In other words, all Christians in Anatolia were targeted, not just Armenians. Between 1914 and 1923 the ancient Christian populations and communities of Anatolia were virtually eradicated by the Turks through mass murder and forced expulsion. It is worth noting that Anatolia, prior to the violent conquest of the region by the Turks, was populated since the second millennium B.C. by Indo-European peoples who eventually converted to Christianity and who formed the earliest Christian churches.

Next year in Byzantium.

It is also worth noting that Christian genocide (of Armenians, Assyrians, Greeks) in Anatolia, although instigated, organized, and directed by Turks, was largely carried out by Kurdish tribesmen. The Kurds did most of the Turks' dirty work; the Kurds did most of the killing.

I couldn't find "The Turk" either, but on the way I did find the funniest NatLamp cover ever, better even than the "shoot the dog" cover.

I also see where Michael Moore says he's coming for The Donald. He didn't explain whether he was going to be trundled in a wheelbarrow, or if he's just going to waddle on his own.

It takes one to know one. Putin is a strong, realist leader, and he of all people knows exactly how destructive Socialist BS can be to a nation. He is a realist that plays chess.

I think it is more likely than not that the part of the body to which Putin referred was the posterior and its orifice rather than another part of the male anatomy.

Some definitions in the Urban Dictionary:

Turkey is going down a bad path. We should not be encouraging Turkey to go Islamist but we are for the same reason Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

There is nothing for us to gain fighting Putin in the Middle East. Turkey as it is currently acting should not be in NATO. Ukraine should be.

"Putin locking his chops with this buffoon."

Typical leftist idiocy. Obama has failed at every opportunity with Russia in particular. At first Putin was happy to take advantage of Obama's stupidity. Now Putin is clearly trying to get Obama to act like an adult and Obama just can't do it. It is really pathetic.

CNN framed Putin's comments as "not the kind of endorsement Trump would hope for."

Actually I think this puts Trump in a stronger position. Putin has signaled his respect for Trump. On the other hand, Putin's behavior demonstrates his utter contempt for Obama. Russian client states are getting stronger. Iran will be taking deliveries of Russian S-400. Syria and Hezbollah exist under S-300 umbrella.

And Stratfor reported today that the United States is suspending manned flights in northern Syria.

This is going to make Putins little girlfriend obambi very jealous.

And to think of how much obambi has already done for his boyfriend in the kemlin!

Since obambi has already maxed out his "flexibility" for his beloved, what other tools remain in the toolbox?
