"I pledge to him, not to receive a photo of the potato salad, but because I love the idea of pledging to a potato salad."

"It makes me happy when people are not dead serious about everything."

So, yeah, I just have one thing I'd like to say about potato salad guy. I was irked — irked I tell you — for, like, 10 seconds. Because here's this guy who's raised over $70,000 on Kickstarter just for planning to make potato salad. And I was all: That was my idea! And I only got $200!

But then I got hold of myself. He's talking about potato salad. My idea was egg salad.

To be afforded a place in the annals of Seinfeld speak (potato salad guy) makes the undertaking that much more valuable.

And yet, potato salad guy would not be potato salad guy w/o the money, w/o the pledges.

Putting us back on the chicken or the egg mysterious argument and who would believe which came first.

Hadn't seen a single thing about this (I guess I read the wrong news) but I want to echo the New Yorker writer, Crouch (and I very often don't much agree or empathise with what NY writers write)-- Danger, do what you want with that money. And I may even see if I can find video of George S. and Robin R. being patronisingly obnoxious... no, I won't. You could add it here, though, and I would watch it.

Good potato salad has as much egg as potato in it. Stay irked.

After funding the project most of the 20 somethings went back to demanding contraceptives they otherwise couldn't afford.
