Oh, it will be SO much fun guessing what is going on in North Carolina.

I think the elephant is in the room.

You can never have enough time for details.

Cartoonists are better known for drawing pretty simple pictures that carry a whopping big message.

The Professor and Meade have left the building.

There is nothing going on in NC.

Stay away, the rest of you.

Actually "North Carolina" is what Michael H has been seeing a lot of these days.

They're doing construction on the 3 major roads in my NC burg.

Ralph, I misread that as "deconstruction" and well... that sort of made sense to me.

So, I'm going to have another glass of wine.

Deconstruction is correct for one road. They're widening a busy two lane to 4 with median--ripped out dozens of dogwoods and big trees and half of many front yards.

It's droodles all over again, started in the 50s by Roger Price.

They turned up on a very successful set of paper party napkins, as I recall.

The most famous one turned up on a CD much later, Ship Arriving Too Late To Save a Drowning Witch.

No highway work is going on in my part of NC. The roads here are perfect.
