"Banks 'concerned' over model riot."

"We are concerned by the events."

In other words: You were given a chance to prove that you could be America's Next Top Model. A model needs to remain calm and hold her pose during a melée and you freaked out and stampeded. Please go now.

Heh. I read 'Banks' as money institution. That this had something to do with a run on a bank. That is a better visual than the actual one.

The PR guys use "concerned" language to humanise their client's heartless activity of abusing young people for money. I am sure that the early 1800's Slave Ship owners were concerned about their cargo too. Just not concerned enough to lose a single dollar from their heartless business model.

So I'm visualizing the run-on-the-bank scene in It's a Wonderful Life, except everyone waving a passbook above their heads (do banks even issue passbooks anymore? Mine don't) is a bikini clad model in 4-inch heels.

This is the sheer suffering Krugman was talking about. Not food riots or riots at tuns on banks. The suffering are skinny skanks in sheer clothes rioting over a silly show.

Am I bad that I laughed my ass off at the video? The screams were HIGHlarious. I would of loved to see it live, from a window above.

I had the same reaction. Envisioned a model riot, everyone orderly, throwing rotten fruit at the bankers in sync, etc. etc.

As a gentleman, I have to say that the mockery and derision directed at these unfortunate young ladies is ungallant and uncalled-for. I'm sure the event was very stressful for them, and I only wish I could have been there to comfort one or two of them in person.

Thousands of women in high heels rioting - every straight man's fantasy.

If I were only 30 years younger....

Trash culture breeds bad results, big surprise?

The run was caused by rumors that banks assets were, ahem.. a bit inflated ;)
