"Now, Donald, what does Tiffany have of yours and what does Tiffany have of Donald's?"

Donald Trump answers a question — on a 1994 episode of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" — about his baby daughter.

(Go 2:43 in the video at the link to avoid the tediously extended "Daily Show" set-up.)

ADDED: Since no one seems to be bothering to watch the video, I will add this description that gives away the surprise:
“Well, I think that she’s got a lot of Marla. She’s a really beautiful baby — she’s got Marla’s legs.” Then making a gesture that indicated large breasts, he added, “We don’t know whether or not she’s got this part yet, but time will tell.”

Thanks, machine. I added the quote for the video-averse.

Trump talked about his baby's potential to grow into a woman with large breasts.

Is Donald supposed to be in both parts of that sentence?

I am Laslo.

I bet feminists don't like that sort of openness and honesty.

Creepy.

I think it's normal for parents to speculate on how their very young kids will look as adults, which attributes they'll inherit from Mom's side or Dad's side.

"Creepy" -- such a wonderfully flexible adjective.

If I had Donald Trump's looks, and Donald Trump's money, I'd have paid some extraordinarily good-looking guy to bang Marla and then I'd take over from there.

That's probably a good topic for a post in itself. I almost never watch videos anymore, unless it is music or a trailer I desperately want to see (which is almost never). I can always get the information 100x faster by reading it and if I can't read it I'm not going to sit while someone else wastes my time, especially after a 30 second ad, etc. I think a lot of other people do this too.

That's why to this day I just have to trust that Cruz has an awful speaking demeanor, because I've never seen it myself. I've almost never heard Obama speak at all in the last 9 or whatever years he's been on the national stage. Trump and Hillary tho, they were grandfathered and grandmothered in from the pre-internet days. Ugh.

“Like Trump, Berlusconi consistently seemed too absurd to be true. And yet he was. He won elections again, and again, and again, thriving off any and all attention,” she says. “People didn’t take him or what he said seriously. Then one day we woke up to find our government overrun by criminals, our economy destroyed, and our cultural mores perverted to the extent that the objectification of women was commonplace. There was no more laughing left to do.”

The similarities between Berlusconi and Trump are striking.

From his response you can assume that Marla didn't have bolt-ons.

Then they remembered they were Italy and that that had been the case for the last 70-150 years.

This is the kind of thing that get Trump labeled as a woman hater by the kooky David Brooks. It may be boorish, and objectifying, but it is not woman hating unless the term has become meaningless. If woman-hating is a man only seeing women as tools to get what you want, then man hating is a woman only seeing men as tools to get you what you want, and brother, there are a lot of man-haters out there. At least one of them is running for president.

Every time I see a post like this that tends to denigrate Trump, I think about the time Hillary told the families of the Benghazi dead that it was a video that caused the attacks. Then denied she said that to them, later.

Anything anybody can dig up about Trump being less than a perfect candidate for president, Hillary has done worse.

It is sort of like that South Park show where Butters, as Dr. Chaos, is disappointed that every evil scheme he envisages has already been a plot on The Simpsons. Except in the case of Hillary, the level of disgust should be much higher among the populace who knows she has done every last rotten thing imaginable already, and can only top her performances of the past with truly perfidious behavior that will horrify, but not surprise, her public.

The argument that Trump is better than Hillary really shouldn't become operational until Trump is the nominee. He's running right now against another candidate (two if you count Kasich) who is also better than Hillary. That is such a low bar to clear that it hardly seems worth pointing out.

I'm sure that's what Trump intends us to believe, that he not only married a super model, but one that was authentic from the ground up.

Or, it could be that if nature does not deliver unto the child what was not delivered unto the mother.... adjustments will have to be made.... again.

Natural endowments. The speculation about your children ends there, and proceeds with good wishes for a healthy, happy, and successful life.

I suppose that a pro-choicer would consider the market value of each clump of cells separately, then either call Planned Parenthood to cannibalize the child, a progressive moralist for training in the dysfunctional revolution, or a female chauvinist to reserve space in a Slut Walk.

If you think this is a weird thing for a father to hope for his daughter, you're not very real-world. The question was about what adult she'll resemble physically.

jg said...

The inferences we're supposed to make:

1. Trump is sexually attracted to his daughters

2. Trump doesn't have any hopes for the subjective experience or skills of his daughters; only their sex appeal

I'd say this sort of extreme garbage is a symptom of the love-or-hate reaction people have to celebrities. I find the tendency of people to go there more perverted than anything they accuse the subject of their hate-crush of.

i meant [subjective experience] or [skills] - probably unclear. we can take also [luck in love] and [luck in business] as things to wish well

Jonathan Graehl:

The answer differs for a male and female child. For a woman, her breasts are a significant asset in reproduction and attraction. Also, there is the hereditary pride and speculation of her father and mother. Trump's daughter has developed into a beautiful, successful, happy, balanced woman, wife, and mother. This seems to be the outcome for all of his children.
