"It’s hard to avoid the suspicion that the [Iowa] party establishment is trying to protect Hillary."

Says Howard Kurtz, observing the suppression of the raw vote totals.
Perhaps it’s just a coincidence that McGuire, an Iowa co-chairman of Clinton’s 2008 campaign, drives a Buick with the license plate HRC2016.

I like that these stories are coming out--should motivate the Sanders fans.

Plus, the news about Marc Ambinder being blackmailed into writing a pro-Hillary story (https://reason.com/blog/2016/02/09/journalists-described-hillary-clintons-s) using the exact language her aide requested should have legs. This goes even beyond the usual "uncoordinated liberal bias" charge to full-blown "propaganda outlets".

If we could just permanently retire these Clintons!

All Secrets stay secret in HillaryLand. She just wipes them with a cloth.

Andrea McWire does a little Katherine Harris hokey pokey.

I bet those totals are kept a lot more secure than the names of agents that were on her home server. Valerie Plame? What was that all about anyway? A bunch of ginned up outrage, apparently. Hillary does the same thing Rove was accused of, only much worse, and no outrage. It's almost as if outrage is just one more tool to keep voters in line.

Here's what an enterprising journalist should do: Create numbers that say Bernie got more of the popular vote in Iowa. Imagine the Clicks you could get with that story!

Of course, you have to do it fast! And you have to have an editor who doesn't mind stories unsupported by all the facts (Such editors are apparently a dime a dozen).

Sit back and watch.

Or the Iowa Democrat Party could release the vote tallies, nothing confidential or legally protected. They've released them in the past when it suited the machine's advantage.

Apparently, in NH, Bernie won by 9-1 the Dems who thought the honesty of the candidate was the most important factor. Bernie is demonstrably honest. The Hill, demonstrably not...

You don't need facts. Just a theory. It's a think piece.

Are there really as many as 10 of those?

Brando -- That Reason piece is good, but the headline is wrong. She bribed, not blackmailed. The journalists were bought, not threatened. She must have learned from Goldman Sachs.

First of all it is amazing to think that 74,000 people voted for that douchebag John Edwards.

Things have really become corrupt in the Democrat Party if you can even release a raw vote total. Either that, or they are completely incompetent and don't know the actual total because they messed up the process and the count.

This is why, when it's close, the Democratics accuse the Republicans of cheating. It's projection.

If Kurtz weren't a leftist in good standing this would be proof of his nuttery.

Actually Katherine Harris did the Hokey Pokey, What McGwire did was jiggery pokery.

Personal server, erased emails, speech transcripts, Iowa vote totals... Hillary is all about hiding stuff. And she always finds people willing to aid and abet.

4 years ago the Republicans were inept for the Iowa caucus'. This year the Democrats are just crooked. The Democrat machine is the Clinton's. The Democrat machine is rigging the primaries. Super delegates???? So Bernie keeps using the word 'fair' and Democrats have Super delegates.

Why is anyone surprised that Democrats are scamming the Iowa caucus votes. Its not like the Democrats dont have more that a century of history scamming elections. Its what they do, and it defines their ideology about the world.

What difference, at this point, does it make?

tim in vermont said...

Though Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary in a landslide over Hillary Clinton, he will likely receive fewer delegates than she will. Sanders won 60 percent of the vote, but thanks to the Democratic Party’s nominating system, he leaves the Granite State with at least 13 delegates while she leaves with at least 15 delegates.

Brando said...plus, the news about Marc Ambinder being blackmailed into writing a pro-Hillary story

"Being blackmailed...into writing a pro-Hillary story" isn't quite right, Brando--he was influenced to write specific (pro-Hillary) things but it's not all that obvious to me that he needed much persuasion nor that his writing would otherwise not have been so pro-Hillary. It's a terrific find, though, and I am genuinely glad Gawker pursued it (probably one of the only times I've thought Gawker did anything good!). Ambinder's outed as the biased hack he's always been just as Mike Allen was last year and that's a great thing--something like that really ought to make him close to unemployable in the field of journalism. It's nice to see proof that those of us who complain about the biased, pro-Left Media are right on the money, kind of like how the Venoa decrypts proved that the Right was mostly correct about the Commie infiltration and spying within the government (specifically the Rosenburgs, Fuchs, Hiss, etc).

A smart candidate will hammer the Media with evidence like this (of the Media's bias and hackery) any time that candidate receives bad coverage. Trump and Sanders could both do it...I hope they do. We as a nation respect the Media too much--even with sub 20% approval ratings we still forget from time to time just how biased and ethically compromised most members of the Media really are. Don't trust 'em!

With the Democrats' superdelegate system, the fix is in. If you are a Democrat (God help you), you WILL love Big Sister.

Iowa suppressed raw vote count to give primary to HRC.

How about NH? Raw vote count: Sanders 60%, HRC 38%. Delegates HRC 15, Sanders 13, undecided 2.

NH knows the vote count. So what?
Question: did Sanders win the NH primary, or did HRC, or the Illuminati.
