The sign says "Memorial Union Terrace/CLOSED/For The Winter" but it's 60° here in Madison.

A man in shorts waits for a lake and a snowball to melt:

Many people have crossed the chain with the "CLOSED" sign, perhaps because the "CLOSED" sign is subject to interpretation — it's not substantively winter — or maybe because they don't care about your signs, man....

And here's another chain crossed:

That little yellow sign says "CLOSED," but come on... you can't close a lake...

Welcome to spring, everybody!

I interned one summer in the HR department on the top floor of the union-right next to the President's office and I believe the travel agency.

pointy tits.

The lake looks like a tiny little point.

The dogs are not out on the Lake, which tells something.

Assuming Cafe Rules are in effect, the news to travel lovers is that the Euro has fallen nearly even with the dollar.

That make European Vacations roughly 23% discounted from last summer's prices. Just demand a deal when booking.

Nobody was walking on the lake, but they were out on the pier.

We have a mountain here near Denver. They have a big state sign next to the road that goes to Mt. Evans, and in the winter, they change it to read "Mt. Evans : CLOSED" ... seriously, you had to close the mountain? The whole thing?

In our village there is a boat ramp in the middle that has a sign that says "Don't go out there" but it means, "Your relatives won't be able to sue us."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If you don't like what Government does with the Power, then don't let them have the Power.

Dear Mr./Ms. Bureaucrat: It ain't the Government's lake; it's the People's lake.

Are Republicans talking about budget cuts? That's usually all it takes for the gubmint to close public parks. We all have to feel the pain.

Now the IRS is delaying tax refund checks due to those evil Republicans.

Of course Democrats think it is perfectly natural to punish the poor for political outcomes they don't like. I haven't seen a tax refund check in decades. What do I care? But I remember a time when I desperately needed that money.

I certainly hope that's it. But it's probably because many college students can't even read anymore.

"As I went walking I saw a sign there: And on the sign it said "No Trespassing." But on the other side it didn't say nothing,: That side was made for you and me."

I left work early yesterday. The first Spring day at 20 C demands that kind of thing. And another sunny day today.

You just can't beat warm Spring days in the upper midwest.

I assume Ann is horrified by the guy wearing shorts. Just kidding.
