What with all these daily dog photos I am left with the feeling that I've been welcomed into someone's nice home, only to be pawed from head to toe by the owner's excited dog. Training seems to always be trumped by insocient emotions.

Meade is the one who goes out on the windswept, snowy landscape and gets pictures. I don't have much to photograph in the winter.

I had a camera in my pocket when we went skiing at Mirror Lake on Saturday, but nothing looked photographable. It was pretty, but I don't think the pictures would have looked like much on the blog.

It's not easy to get bloggable winter pictures.

I could do tablescapes...
