You walk up into the mountains...

... I'll just photograph the sunset from the hotel window.

Man, this thin atmosphere is making me lazy.

A box arrives.

Maybe with dog toys.

rhhardin, that is the most endearing one you've posted.

Get out of that thin atmosphere and get back to feeding Democrat-hate to your loyal readers!

BTW, that's a nice photo. I wonder if the world will look that nice after the militant Tea Party overthrows the now-Socialist America and turns it into a dictatorship?

Mountain Factoid: the elevation of Boulder causes the dose of cosmic radiation there to be at level 23, but the elevation in Madison causes that level to only be at 2.

Very nice shot; inspirational.

I don't know if I could take the thin air, but that sort of thing is what I love about the West.

PS Flake out if you feel like it. You've earned it.

As opposed to the one we're headed for now? It could only be better.

It's why athletes train here. Of course you know that. Takes a few weeks to adjust, then you go back to sea-level with the advantage of improved studlification.

Woo to the hotel window pic.

The polar bear card is coming along nicely. I tried a few things to get a polar bear on one side of the card to drop-kick a penguin and send it sailing across the other side of the card and off the page. I settled on hidden crimps and behind the background levers. It works very well and it's funny as hell. This will probably be the second or third page.

I enjoyed that too, rhhardin. How did she know?

So adorable.

Rhhardin...a few more boxes and I bet you could teach her to sing. She's already got a nice rendition of something that sounds suspiciously close to "Old McDonald Had A Farm".

Got nothing to add, just noticed the WV - trolesqu. Perfect, save a final "e".

As I cross my own century-divide later this month, that with the altitude has got me leery of our own planned trip to the San Juan's in a few months. "Man, this thin atmosphere is making me lazy" isn't helping. ;)

Darcy is back. How was Mars?

In typical enhanced blonde fashion, I don't get that question, David.

But hello. :)
