Mr. Forward wrote a poem.

Here. It's a tad "inside Althouse" but very charming (to me, anyway):
Althouse's favorite commentater
Lives under the refrigerator.
He appears as a ghost
when he bothers to post,
Admits "it's the only way I could date her."
AND: Psychedelic George follows on:
A mere common tater,
a tuber who wishes he knew 'er.

Don't badger the Badger,
In her tenured den,
You may date her,
or berate her,
but we grognards can say "We Knew Her When."

In those Halcyon days of 2004,
Pre-Brooklyn, Pre-Palin, Pre-Blogo,
There's More?
Don't strain to recall,
Just click the tag --
isn't that what they're for?

At Althouse the commenters scroll
Is full of the earnest and droll
We’re mostly polite
At the professor’s site
Though some of us prefer to troll.

I'm starting to wonder if some of the commenters here are Althouse sock puppets. Does anyone know if Sir Archy or Blogging Cockroach show up at any other blogs?

If I were sock-puppeting here, which I'm not, I would be much meaner to me that either bc or archy.

Neither of whom have so much as a mean bone in their body.

Or any bones at all, for that matter.

Very charming, indeed!

I wish the poems inspired by Althouse and her topics could be read in one place.

How's about Link Forward, Angel?

I'd buy the book. There is so much creative talent here that it seems a shame to have it buried in any way.
