McCain strikes a pose.

(Thanks to Zachary Paul Sire for pointing this out.)

I'll bet we can snip some of your Bloggingheads clips and mash 'em up with "Ray of Light" or "Frozen"...yes, we can!

"This is going to be a great election campaign year or my name isn't B. Hussein Obama,Jr.," as NOT said by Senator Obama!

What B.S.! McCain can't lift his hands above his shoulders. It's a phoney.

that video is a work of genius.

Is this supposed to a reference to "Rocky Horror Picture Show"? That is, specifically, to a particular set-piece of the audience participation part, in reference to a specific [neckless] character ... .

The terminally hip division of the lefty sausage machine merrily mocking McCain. Fine. If turnaround were allowed. But it won't be allowed. And we all know it.

Watch freedom die.

Messiah!!!

ricpic: Barack Obama is Brad.

reader_iam said...

Does that make you feel better?

reader_iam said...

Yes! Yes!

I think I might be able to get through this election season, sense of humor intact, if only I can assign the corresponding Rocky Horror characters and extras.

On to something here, I think.

Thanks, Althouse, for the inspiration.

McCain is tricky, though: My reference to the visual "neckless" thing in the video to which Althouse linked notwithstanding, I actually think he's a combo of various elements. OK, the neckless professor, yes--but also, a good dose of Eddie, too, dontcha think?

Anyone want to take a stab at anyone else? Oh, please do! Could be fun, you know... .

My goodness, did real persons over the age of six ever really watch RHPS?

Of course, the voices in RHPS are great, so melodramatic, inspiring, and convincing! So, it truly does complement B. Hussein Obama, Jr's campaign!

You're trying too hard, Althouse. Negativity will corrode your liberal soul. Did you remember to say your prayers to the Obamessiah at bedtime? He will remember and reward you.

reader_iam said...

Guess I should include an Eddie reference.

My goodness, did real persons over the age of six ever really watch RHPS?

My goodness, you think RHPS was aimed at/deemed appropriate for the under-6 crowd?!?!!!? (Unlike nowadays, when even shockingly, silly grampas think it's A-OK, unthinkingly, for little girls and boys to watch a particular show or two I won't mention, just 'cause they're popular and, well, "everyone does it"?)

Well, I guess it's absolutely incumbent upon me, on account of expectations and all, not to mention "all that," to say:

You degenerate, unthinking, unreflective, unimaginative, irresponsible, sheeple fool of a person, you.

I'm assuming that works well for you.

That is the acest thing in all of acedom.

I think it's trying to say McCain is a poser, but I don't care.

Dear RI: Thank you for your most kind comments! Hopefully your Messiah and Lightmaker shall be kind and allow you, his lowly minion, to kiss his feet!

Ta ta and remember smoking the toke too far down shall burn your tender lips!

Anxious little twerp aren't you!

You're making rather huge assumptions as to my political judgments and proclivities, OG.

Are you sure you *know" what you think you *know*?

--

Also, you might want to consider whether "anxious" is the same thing as "impatient." Oh--'tis true!--I have tendencies toward both. (As I have tendencies toward many things, whether I, or anyone else, likes it or not). However, in this case, from what you just wrote, you've got it backwards.

Shorter: Not anxious. Impatient!!!

Also, by nature, I'm not a worshiper of political figures, among other things. If you're one of those here who don't get that, then so be it.

RI is the Gordian Knot and the only way to resolve issues with RI is to use Alexander's solution; ouch!

reader_iam said...

That's what you say. Are you the last word? Ought you be?

Do you think you should be?

1775OGG said...

But of course!

Sonuvabitch. Bitten by a strategic SP.

OK, then.

Badly Photoshopped.

For sure, and of course. Given that, what to do with it?

Cindy McCain playing Columbia would be great.

How fun was that! What an nice reminder to not to have to take things so seriously all the time...And nice job, to whomever put that together.

Was that anti-McCain?

The real question is: Who's Frank N. Furter and who is Rocky?

Maybe the Democratic Party and Obama, respectively?

Which means that the professor could be the Republican Party and the McCains could be Brad & Janet.

That puts ... Nader? ... in the role of the treacherous Riff Raff?

MadisonMan said...

Given that Frank-N-Furter is replaced by Riff-Raff when R-R becomes the new commander, I think GWBush is the natural parallel to FNF, and the next President is Riff-Raff.
