That photo is very clearly staged by Chimpy McBushitler; those are Halliburton employees; and that Church is in Kuwait City.

EVERYONE knows that. We cannot possibly win in Iraq. We're the bad guys - it's not only our destiny to lose, it's the morally right thing to do.

Secure Defeat. It's Not Too Late. Vote Democrat.

For those who don't read Reynolds, one of his readers suggested contrasting the Yon photo with this one:

And there are probably MSM reporters right now investigating just that theory. They'll say "After Kelly Lynch and Pat Tillman we don't want to be duped again."

And if one of them had taken that shot, with a Clinton in the White House, instant Pulitzer Prize.

As noted elsewhere, crosses elsewhere in Baghdad have been threatened in the very recent past by Muslim extremism. I hope it can stay there for a good long time.

I originally read this as US soldiers having been invited to put the cross up and thought "Great, another photo-op for Muslim extremists pushing the Great Crusades meme" I'm glad that I misread and that the erectors are Iraqis.

Anyone who has not seen the work of Michael Yon is missing not just very good (meaning accurate) view of what's going on in Iraq, but also the finest example of journalism you are likely to see in the present times.

Yon is to Iraq coverage what

Joe Galloway was to Vietnam

and Ernie Pyle was to WWII

a reporter that puts his life on the line, tells it like it is, and spells the PFC's name out so Mom can see it in her local paper.

Isn't it interesting that none of the usual suspects comments on this one.
